Bramley C of E Infant School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Everyone, children and adults, in our school community is a learner.
We begin from where the children are in their understanding, designing and planning activities based on the child’s interests and view of the world.
The children are encouraged to take on responsibility for their own learning.
We believe in making mistakes! It’s OK! This is a learning place!
It is often best to learn in a realistic context where there are valid reasons for learning new skills and concepts.
Acquiring basic skills, knowledge and concepts are vital to learning, but these are accessed through a variety of approaches and stimuli, taking a trip on Concorde, Going on a Bear Hunt, entering a Scarecrow and visiting Hampton Court Flower Show, undertaking a marathon, taking part in the Cobweb Olympics.
