Our School Council is an important part of our school leadership team. It is made up of children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

The children are voted onto the council by their peers and it is often the first time that the children have taken part in a democratic vote.

As part of the school leadership team the children meet regularly to talk about ways the school can be improved. They discuss ideas and then carry out small tasks leading to the improvement happening.

Each child has the opportunity to share their ideas, which are all taken into consideration.

The children listen to their peers and report back to them on a regular basis.

Our Worship team is selected by staff from our Year 2 class, they take responsibility for set up for collective worship, planning and maintaining prayer spaces and with help from staff they plan and deliver some collective worship session.

The children are proud to be role models for our school vision and values.
