About Us

Head teacher welcome

A very warm welcome to Bramley Church of England Infant and Nursery School Website.

Our School's vision is:

We are a small and inclusive Infant and Nursery school that nurtures children to flourish in all areas of their lives. We are inspired by Jesus’ words ‘live life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10). Using the awe and wonder of nature we provide experiences which support physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. We are proud to be part of the local area supporting our children to be confident and respectful members of the community and wider world.

We do this by encouraging our children to:

· Seek within

· Wonder Why

· Reach Out

· Aim High

I am very proud and privileged to lead this wonderful Infant and Nursery school. Village children and those from the surrounding area have been attending Bramley Infant School for over 175 years and we continue to foster a joy of learning which will last for a lifetime.

Bramley Church of England Infant and Nursery is a successful and popular school where everyone works hard to ensure that the children are safe, secure and part of a friendly and caring community. We want the children to be happy and excited about coming to school to learn and to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding across a wide and exciting curriculum. The vision and values of our school are embedded across our curriculum and they ensure we are able to inspire and challenge all the children.

Children can begin with us the half term after they turn two by joining our nursery. Children can attend the Nursery for a minimum of two morning sessions or up to five full days, the term after they turn 3 they can join our Pre-School. Funded hours are available for parents who qualify.  Additional self-funded hours can also be booked. The Nursery and Pre-School are housed in the main building but are a separate department with their own age appropriate facilities and playground.

We have a strong, experienced and dedicated team who are passionate about working with children in order to help them achieve their best.

Our school is very much a family school and we are supported and championed by the wider community. The parents and family members are an integral part of the school; we know that children achieve their best when school and families work effectively together.

The parents support us in many different ways including running the school PTFA, which enables us to buy extras for the school.

As a Church School we have strong links with Holy Trinity Church and hold service events at the church. Further information about the church can be found at: https://www.holytrinitybramley.org.uk/welcome.htm

We look forward to meeting you.
