Admissions, Sessions and Fees

Our Nursery and Pre-School is available to all children although we do have an admissions policy in the case of oversubscription.

We offer 3 sessions in our Nursery and Pre-School rooms - 8:30-11:30, 8:30-12:30 and 8:30-3pm. We have a minimum uptake of 2 sessions in Nursery and 3 sessions in Pre-School.

Many families increase their child’s attendance when they move into the Pre-School room in preparation for them starting school.

We accept all funding for all our sessions. Working parents entitlement (WPE) allows families up to 30 hours of funded childcare from the age of 9 months. If a family is not eligible for any working parent entitlement, then upon moving to Pre-School your child will be allocated a 15 or 30 hour funded place (the term after they turn 3).  We require a declaration form to be completed and signed every term for us to be able to receive your funding. All funding options and applications are to be made via https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

Any further queries can be directed to admin@bramley.surrey.sch.uk

Chargeable extras associated with taking up funded entitlement hours

Our Pre-School and Nursery do not charge any extra fees for consumables for example sun cream or nappies etc. Children are provided with a free school snack in the morning usually fruit. We request families bring a snack for the afternoon if your child stays for the afternoon session. Nappies, wipes and creams etc are provided by parents for their individual child.

A school lunch can be purchased via Scopay or parents can provide a packed lunch for their child.

Any trips, for example a visiting farm, parents may be asked for a donation towards this event.

For any families who need financial support for any extras please do contact the school as we may be able to support you. This may include:

  • Waiving charges for families in need

  • Ensuring optional extras are not a condition for accessing funded places

  • Access to Early Years Pupil Premium if your family qualify for it
